Coward Springs

After 2 amazing days in Coober Pedy we took the dirt track to William Creek. The road was pretty good and it was a nice drive. We reached this iconic little place. This was our start on the Oodnadatta track. Very nice and some of the easier tracks.

Campground, airstrip and pub. What a great and characterful pub. Quick nibble and then of to coward springs. The sky became darker and darker and we knew as soon as the rain starts they will close the road. So we hurried up and just before rain started we managed to drive in into our slot.

After our quick setup we browsed over the property, hot bore and the amazing old railway station with a lot of history. Former Ghan train track. Little rain during the night
