Margret River 5

 Today was another cycling day after breakfast. Petra found a route from our campground to a near dam, MR and a coffee roaster. We started on our farm, through an over grown forest track, creepy, gravel road to the dam. 

From the dam went a nice track, well maintained through old forest 🌳 and along a river. Really great. We reached MR and on the other side of town was the coffee roaster. Good coffee but expensive. We cycled back on the main road . Thomas washed the bikes and then we packed them on our car . Tomorrow the chapter Margret River is over and we will visit Denmark.

Whyalla/ Shingle beach

 We left this morning this little town Waroonka and drove via Port Augusta onto the Eyre Peninsula to an important steel and iron ore production area Whyalla. It was a normal drive nothing exciting. 10 km before Whyalla we turned left to a free camp spot called Shingle beach.  For the next 4 days our home. Straight at the beach front, 10 meters from water and windy 🌬. We made a sightseeing tour through town, very interesting, along the beach and the shopping centre. We cooked on a windless day green peas stew with bacon & sausage, Indian lentils daal and sliced pork in mushrooms cream sauce with truffle polenta. All yummy.  Nights have been windy, clear and we could see all the ⭐️. Nice quite beach, rubbish bin, no toilet. We enjoyed it very much
