Denmark 3

This morning we packed our hiking boots and drove around 100 km over Mt Barker to a very popular rock formation and Sky walk.

Arrived at the car park and paid the entrance fee and started our 2.2 km bush walk uphill. We took our time because it was quite muggy. Over endless steps through thick forest we reached the top. What an effort the ranger made to create this sky walk .

First we had to climb over and through a rock formation to reach a natural rock platform. What a view. Next was through a little gap with step handles onto the next level. From here climbing up a ladder to the sky walk. Breathtaking view over the area. A bit windy.

Same way back and to a low level platform with a different view. Returning to the car was much quicker and took only 30 minutes.

From there we drove to Albany, had a little sightseeing drive through the town and along the bay before we went back to Denmark.
