5.45 we stood up this morning, quick breakfast and packing down. At 7 am we left the campground and our 8 hours journey started. The drive down to Port Hedland was not very interesting. But that should change soon after refueling.
A huge mine haulage truck convoy was in front of us and it went slow. After a few km they stopped on a bridge, blocked off the oncoming traffic and let us pass. How good was this. We had to drive with the float and we did around the 100 km/hrs. We got pushed from a road train behind us.
After we turned onto Karijini road the traffic got less. Last 100 km was a beautiful drive with plenty of scenery changes. Got into our camp site, quick setup, shopping and enjoying the rest of our day. Puhhhhh what a hard life 😜😜😜😜
