Edith falls 2

 Early breakfast and it was already hot. Packed our hiking gear and went for a nice loop walk around the upper falls. There were some longer walks but we knew that the temperature will rise.

Reached one of the upper falls after a short steep hike. This was a great spot to swim and relax. After some pictures we went on. It was brutally hot on our walk back and we needed all our water. 

Back quick change and into the lake, how great was this. Relaxing only missing someone to serve gold drinks. Dinner and early bedtime in the hot caravan 🥵🥵

Whyalla/ Shingle beach

 We left this morning this little town Waroonka and drove via Port Augusta onto the Eyre Peninsula to an important steel and iron ore production area Whyalla. It was a normal drive nothing exciting. 10 km before Whyalla we turned left to a free camp spot called Shingle beach.  For the next 4 days our home. Straight at the beach front, 10 meters from water and windy 🌬. We made a sightseeing tour through town, very interesting, along the beach and the shopping centre. We cooked on a windless day green peas stew with bacon & sausage, Indian lentils daal and sliced pork in mushrooms cream sauce with truffle polenta. All yummy.  Nights have been windy, clear and we could see all the ⭐️. Nice quite beach, rubbish bin, no toilet. We enjoyed it very much
